As finals season kicks in and the holidays get closer, December is all about finishing strong and taking a well-deserved breather. This month, we’re excited to highlight events and resources that support your academic journey—from LSAT prep and admissions pathways to experiential learning opportunities (the last of the year!). Whether you’re grinding through the last weeks of classes or counting down the days to winter break, we hope this newsletter helps you wrap up the year feeling prepared, connected, and inspired.
And if you’ve been good this year, Santa just might slide a 170+ into your LSAT score report!!
Song of The Month:
Because all we want for Christmas is… you (platonically). Thank you for such a wonderful year. See you in 2026!

Join us for our final experiential learning opportunity of the term with a visit to the Provincial Court. This court visit offers an inside look at real-time judicial proceedings, trial advocacy, and the day-to-day operations of the criminal justice system. Court visits are one of our most popular events, and December’s session is a great chance to observe the practical dimensions of legal work before heading into winter break.
Get your tickets now, before they sell out—More details, including schedule and group commute information will be released on our Instagram. Keep an eye out!
Avenue Program — Summer 2026 Opportunity
The Avenue Program is an incredible professional development opportunity for Black and Indigenous undergraduate students interested in exploring careers in law. This 12-week paid internship, running from May to August, offers hands-on experience in the legal sector while providing mentorship, career guidance, and invaluable exposure to the pathways leading to law school.
Students accepted into the program will gain direct insight into legal practice, build foundational professional skills, and develop meaningful connections with leaders across the industry.
Importantly, major national law firms—including Osler and Blakes—are participating in this year’s Avenue Program. Both firms will be interviewing and hiring directly from the Avenue applicant pool, making this a unique chance to access highly competitive positions within Canada’s top legal workplaces.
Applications to apply close on December 5th at 11:59PM
The Christmas presents are looking great this year—we wish we could share. But since we can’t exactly slide these under your tree, we can offer the next best thing. Check out our sponsors listed at the end of the newsletter who’ll help you boost those LSAT scores and keep your law journey on track. Maybe one day these presents can be under your tree too! 🎁
